How we took the Spain magazine way further than just a print project
The Spanish Tourist Office in Brussels did not throw in the towel in these corona times. We created an inspiration magazine for them to make Belgians dream of a holiday to Spain in 2021. And with an all-encompassing approach, we managed activating the right target groups straight away.

Approach on the magazine
Spain may well be one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations, the country is still full of hidden surprises. The inspiration magazine “42 ideas for enjoying the magic of Spain in 2021” reveals some unexpected discoveries for next year around the following themes:
- Cultural heritage
- Gastronomy
- Nature and adventure holidays
- Surprising itineraries
Besides some Unesco World Heritage classics, we let you discover plenty of hidden gems. You’ll also find useful information about accessible travel, mobility and Spain as a sustainable holiday destination.
A magazine never stands alone
At KoomBana Bay we like to think further. In this project, too, we made sure the impact of the magazine was greater than mere the realisation of it. We provided extra visibility with the following solutions:
- Email campaign to announce the magazine to Belgian travel professionals
- 500 travel agencies across Belgium each received 10 printed magazines via direct mailing to inspire their customers directly
- Digital version of the magazine, for travel agents to distribute via their own website, newsletters, Facebook page, etc.
- Package with visuals to highlight the magazine online
- Press release for the launch of the magazine to our journalist database
We are so happy with the result. Everything looks absolutely perfect and the press release was really great. Thanks a lot for doing such a nice job!
